ELEVENTH RECORDS sings a new tune for the record industry.

 

Two things fuel this independent label—a fiery fervor for music and an eternal family bond. Distributed through Universal/Fontana, Eleventh Records is family-owned and operated with visionary successful businessman Robert J. Coury at the helm as Executive Chairman along with his two other successful brothers Jeff and Gregg as managing members. Robert and his brothers founded the Pittsburgh, PA-based label in January 2010 because, among other things, Robert recognized over the last several years a myriad of talent a myriad of talent in the marketplace through his son, singer/songwriter/producer Tino Coury’s music endeavors.   However, given Robert’s desire to give Tino and other artists under Eleventh Records as much artistic independence and creative freedom as possible, Robert ultimately didn't want to pursue the modern major label route; instead, he constructed Eleventh Records which provides an environment where artists’ development could happen organically; where creativity could reign supreme and artists with strong dedication and passion for the industry could evolve.  One of the advantages of being a private company label is that the artist comes first and the business is a byproduct.  Ultimately, Eleventh Records keeps it simple.  It’s about music and those who aspire to develop their talent, those who share similar qualities to that of Eleventh Records’ vision.
